There’s always another reason why now isn’t a good time to start a new fitness routine, have healthier eating habits, or make other positive life changes. Instead of seeing the new year as a clean slate you should fill wisely, make changes to your current lifestyle that will set you on the trajectory for future success. When you have a specific motivation for working out (to tone your muscles, lose weight, or reduce pain long-term), you acknowledge that a “clean slate” is impossible, and you begin to work with what you’ve got. Instead of waiting, determine your intentions and make a change today.
